Apple Orchards and Dandelions – A Family Session

Let me just start this out by saying, NO, I am not back in business! However, it was really nice to get out there, with my camera and a sweet family and just do my thing again.

The Greshams also used to live in Panama City, FL.  My husband used to work for Joe (dad), before they moved away. And if it wasn’t for an email from Joe, back in October, telling Jason that Whirlpool was in need of designers, we would still be in Panama City now.  Not too long before the Gresham family moved away from Panama City, I had the opportunity to do their family photos. That was THREE years ago! It’s crazy how much their girls have grown since then! Now that we all live in the same town again… a town in which we are all bran new… it’s been so great having them around! Corin (mom) has been my free and trust worthy babysitter a few times now. Max absolutely adores their youngest daughter! He refers to her as his “best friend”. And Cooper is pretty much in love with the older two girls. My not-so-verbal little boy has even started trying to saying their names! Needless to say, I was more than happy to put on my photographer hat again and take their pictures! And to top it off, in a blooming apple orchard!!! I mean, seriously! How awesome is that??? And the dandelions are EVERYWHERE, right now, so we definitely took advantage of that as well! I had fun!

This is an incredible family. I feel honored to call them friends!

She yelled, “PHOTOBOMB!!!”

Triking outside with Max and Cooper

The weather has been so beautiful lately! One day this week I decided to grab my camera as I took the boys outside to ride their tricycles. So, here are just a few pictures of a day in the life of Max and Cooper.

Eight more weeks till baby girl is due, Amy! Time flies! We’re HOPING to be in an actual house before then… I’m not sure if it’ll happen, but we’re working on it!

Mother’s Day

I’ve been a mother for 4 1/2 years now and I finally whined enough for my husband to realize that all I wanted was a small gesture to make me feel thought of and appreciated on Mother’s Day. So, for Mother’s Day, this year, he had the boys hand me these beautiful orchids and some dark chocolates.  I love the life these little flowers bring to our tiny, drab apartment!
